Ceylon Mission Launches OneVoice27 Media Ministry Platform

New digital platform equips every church member to become an active missionary

COLOMBO, Sri Lanka — In connection with the launch of OneVoice27, the Ceylon Mission of Seventh-day Adventists has developed and launched a new digital mission platform designed to help ordinary church members take an active part in evangelism.

Called the OneVoice27 Media Ministry, the platform was created around a simple idea: “Every believer. A missionary.”

Rather than limiting media ministry to pastors, communication professionals, or content creators, the platform enables church members to use their mobile phones and social networks to share the gospel, lead small groups, and personally guide friends toward Jesus.

The initiative supports the wider OneVoice27 emphasis on mobilizing every member and using available media and communication channels to reach people with the message of Christ.

A Mission Tool in the Hands of Every Member

The platform brings several practical forms of ministry together in one place.

Members can access a Media Library containing images, short videos, captions, printable materials, and other resources prepared for sharing. Instead of requiring members to create missionary content themselves, they can select appropriate material and share it directly with friends and contacts through social media and messaging platforms.

The platform also encourages members who are able to create their own content to participate. Members may upload appropriate missionary resources, which can then be reviewed and made available for others to use.

Supporting Small Group Evangelism

Another major feature is the Small Group Ministry section.

Small-group leaders can open a prepared lesson and conduct a meeting directly from the platform. Lessons include a video message, welcome and icebreaker sections, discussion questions, prayer guidance, and fellowship elements.

Discussion follows a simple Head–Heart–Hands approach, helping participants move from understanding biblical truth to personal reflection and practical application.

The lessons are designed to be available in English, Sinhala, and Tamil, with language-specific videos and content, making the resources usable by congregations throughout Sri Lanka.

One Person, One Journey

The platform is not only designed for group evangelism.

Through the Personal Mission section, a church member can choose one friend, relative, neighbour, colleague, or other interested person and walk with that person through a spiritual journey.

The same core lessons used by small groups can be used in a simple one-to-one setting, allowing members to study, discuss, pray, and build relationships personally.

In this way, evangelism becomes something that can take place not only in a church building or public meeting, but also in a home, workplace, café, university, or through a mobile phone.

Sharing, Participation and Mission Activity

The platform also includes a Sharing Dashboard that helps members see their missionary activity and identify resources that are being actively shared.

Member participation—including uploads and sharing activity—can be recorded, allowing the Mission to encourage active involvement and recognize members who consistently contribute to digital mission.

The platform is also designed to support testimonies, prayer requests, and other forms of member participation as it continues to develop. citeturn0search3

From Watching to Participating

The purpose of the OneVoice27 Media Ministry platform is not simply to provide more online content. Its greater goal is to change the role of church members from viewers to participants, from receivers to sharers, and from members to missionaries.

A member does not need to be a professional evangelist, designer, or media specialist to participate. With a smartphone and a willingness to share Jesus, every member can take part.

The Ceylon Mission plans to use the platform together with small-group ministry, personal evangelism, prayer, Bible study, and digital outreach as part of its preparation for the wider OneVoice27 evangelistic movement.

Following the September 5 OneVoice27 Launch Sabbath, churches across Sri Lanka are entering a period of small-group ministry and digital outreach from September through December 2026, followed by personal Bible studies and relational nurture in preparation for the major evangelistic activities of 2027.

The message behind the new platform is therefore simple:

Every believer can be a missionary.
Every phone can become a mission tool.
Every member can help one more person meet Jesus.
